Where is Jesus?

I don't usually get a chance to sit down and write on my blog. I usually just post pictures and make captions to help stay in touch with friends and family.

But today, I have a minute to tell you about the funny conversation I had with Gibson and Haven earlier today.

So, we were sitting at the island eating lunch. I had their Sunday school papers sitting on top of the counter. Sometimes during meal times, I take the oportunity to review and ask them questions about the bible story they heard. Sunday's story was about when the disciples were fishing and not catching anything so Jesus told them to put their nets on the other side of the boat. Then they caught a bunch of fish and Jesus cooked for them. (John 21:1-13)

I asked them What did Jesus ask His Friends. Gibson's answer, "Did you catch anything?"
What happend after they caught the fish?

Haven said, "Jesus cooked the fish and 2 marshmallows."

After asking them these questions, Gibson asked a unique question to Haven. She was holding her Sunday school paper and Gibson asks,
"Haven, did Jesus give that to you?"
Haven laughs and says, "no, He wasn't at Sunday school."

Then Gibson asks me,
"Mommy, where is Jesus?"
I told him that when we are together talking and thinking about him that He is with us, but we can't always see Him.

So Haven asks me, "Is He hiding in the dark?"
and I said No.

Gibson asks me again, "So where is Jesus?"

So I told him he is with us and He lives in Heaven. (and I pointed up)
So, THEN Gibson says, "Is He on the roof?!?"
And I said no and then headed to call Andrew. He didn't pick up. The converstion was over anyway, but it has kept me smiling all day long and I had to share it with you.

It's still not as funny as the day Andrew asked Gibson where his tail was. If you need a laugh, that's one of my very first post. Reread it and I bet you'll giggle!

Dancing with the Stars

All my kids love to dance. They get very excited when Dancing with the Stars comes on. At first it starts with holding hands and turning around. But, in the end they usually end up wrestling on the floor.

Aren't they cute?!!
Then they fall down and laugh........ it's so fun to watch.

Easter lunch

We ate Easter lunch at Cousin Diane's house today. Here's Haven hidding from John Michael.

But, she was soon talking and laughing with everyone.

Elam was smiling at everyone and being friendly as soon as we got there.

The kids had RED jello in their Easter clothes. It was almost a disaster.

Then they had one more Easter Egg hunt.

There's Aunt Norma, Diane, Michelle and Elam and David.

Easter Eggs and Easter bunny

We were going to go to an Easter Egg hunt in Grandma and Grandpa's neighborhood, but it was too cold, so Grandma set one up for us in her backyard.

Even Elam found one.

There was a red candy in one of Gibson's eggs. He was so excited b/c red is his favorite color.

If you can click on the picture above, you'll see Elam's top teeth. One is out and the other is almost out.

We did one hunt outside and then we did many MANY more inside. We took turns hiding the eggs for Gibson and Haven and then they hid them from mommy and grandma. Then the game turned into hide and seek.

Next we went to the Mall to get our picture with the Easter bunny.

Crazy weather and a cute kid in camo

Here is our pool after hours of rain last week. It almost overflowed.

Here is the cute kid in Camo. Oma is in the back ground. She was helping me last week when the kids and I were sick.

Check out those bottom teeth.

This is an Elam face. He just looks like himself, not anyone else. :)

More fun with Aunt Annaliese and more fun in Clarksville

On Monday I got pampered by my youngest sister, but first she had to hold the little baby.

Here's the results from our spa pedicure. My foot is the one that looks like it's never seen the light of day.

Before she went home, she rocked the baby to sleep. So far, she and Oma are the only ones that can.

On Tuesday we left Joelton and went to Clarksville.

This is Annaliese's Hall Director's Apartment. It is very nice. I was hoping to see it before she graduates this May.

After we saw Annaliese we went to see Bridget and her girls.

Bridget and Elam

This is Olivia. She just turned 4.

This is Bailey. She is 2 1/2

Here we all are. We had fun today. Bridget and I have good mommy talks because her two are as close together as Gibson and Haven. In fact, we have an agreement: Gibson and Olivia are to be married one day.
