Disney Vacation pictures

Last Sunday was when Daniel and his band sang at our church. He did such a great job. So many people had wonderful things to say and also bought CD's!!

We also had to say goodbye to Elam because it was time for our Disney Trip!

We didn't leave till after 5:00, so we had a very VERY late arrival.

Here they are yawning while watching a movie and then Gibson holding on to the pole in the monorail train.

Here is the Disney bus that took us to our hotel.

We had a difficult time finding our room, but we did find it eventually.
Needless to say, the kids had a very hard time waking up the next morning since we didn't go to bed till 2:00 AM

Leave Elam alone for a minute..............

Where's Elam??

Oh, he wanted to go ahead and take a bath. He didn't wait for mom or brother or sister.

Boomer joined in too!

colton's birthday party

Gibson had a birthday party today at the Sam Noble Museum for his friend Colton.

They each got cool animal hats and ate some dinosaur cake.

We didn't know it was a dino party. Gibson loves how excited Colton is in this picture. We got him a "design your own" dinosaur kit. Colton's in the orange shirt.

Above, Gibson is digging for fossils.
Here he is picking up different furs to feel.

This Mammoth tusk was actually excavated in Edmond Oklahoma!

Here's Gibson looking at a real dinosaur egg.

They loved the huge Mammoth, but really loved the
Dinosaur bones!

Early Father's Day

We celebrated Father's Day a little early this week, because we have a busy weekend ahead of us. (I'll talk about that in a minute)
Here are the cards the kids signed and decorated for all our Fathers and Grandfathers and Great Grand Fathers out there.
(Grandpa, if you are reading, you won't receive the Owl card you were supposed to, b/c we accidentally mailed it with the others even though it didn't have your address on it or a stamp)
Andrew's Superman card was the coolest one. It played the Superman theme song. It just makes you want to strike a Super hero pose. By the way, If you ask Gibson what he wants to be when he grows up, he'll say a super hero.

We gave Andrew a Father's Day photo book.

Andrew is our Superman!

Elam enjoys talking on the phone. He talked to Papa the other day. It was our last day of VBS, so we talked about the fish at church and snack time.

So, this weekend is a fun and busy one. Gibson has a birthday party to go to, but more exciting than that, our good buddies Daniel and Emily Doss are coming to town. Daniel's been on tour with his band and they are stopping by here this weekend. He is going to play at our church Sunday morning.
I have a link to Emily's blog listed with my other ones, but if you'd like to check out Daniel's Website click here.
Daniel was Andrew's best man in our wedding and he and Emily got married just two weeks after us. They are our only friends who are our age and married 8 years!!
Emily was also a suit mate of mine in college. It will be so good to see them, but it will be too short!
Our busy weekend doesn't stop there.

After church, we will say bye to Daniel and Emily and hello to Oma, Opa and Aunt Robin.
They are coming to OKC to watch Elam while the rest of us go to.........................................................
Disney World!!!!
We will head to the airport Sunday afternoon! Gibson and Haven are so excited. (So are their parents!)

There are so many other characters than the ones above we want to see. I'm most excited to go to ANIMAL KINGDOM!
We will post pictures as soon as we can!!

Woo hoo!!

sum of the last few weeks

We haven't had a family picture taken since Elam was born, so we had some pictures taken earlier last month.
There were so many good ones that I still haven't picked one to be blown up to the size of our other family pics.

Me and my one and only little girl.

The current boys

Ok, now, when you have your first child, you say to yourself, "That is the prettiest baby I've ever seen." Here is my first born at a handsome "almost" 6, and he is still so pretty!! Look at those eyes! He looks like a model.

Haven's beauty shines right through that smile and
OF COURSE her lovely blues!

Here is the boy who a few days earlier had to get stitches and woke up with a fever on the day of our shoot.
My dad calls him "Slugger"
Andrew's been joking about baby boy names, and he came up with "Boss" for the new baby. I think it fits Elam better.

Here is Elam on his last day of ISR. He wore his full clothes and diaper and shoes this day to see if he could do it fully clothed to simulate and real accident situation.

He did fair. I'm not sure if he truly graduated. He couldn't get his float very well, but did it a few times.
He always cried, but the tears were worth it.
Mrs. Brandi was very proud.

Here he is saying, "All done!"

Randomly, I was invited to a cake decorating class at a friend's house, so, I baked a cake and made icing and here is the finished product!

And, lastly, VBS this last week.
Here's Gibson at snack and Haven finishing recreation.
I had some friends who took some more pictures, so I'll post them later when I get them.

Haven learned a verse,
"Teach me what is right"
On 86:11
(Psalms 86:11)
