Dance Recital 2008

Last Saturday was my 3rd dance recital since living here in Oklahoma.

To see last years and the year before click here and here.

Haven wanted to stay with me. Very similar to my first year when both Haven and Gibson stood up front with me. (Elam was there too since I was pregnant)
So, out of 3 dance recitals I've been pregnant twice! Not sure what that says about me, but any way.......

I had some girls I had danced with in April at a women's retreat come and dance. Two of them are going to teach for me in the Fall.

Haven had a verse to say before her SUPER HERO dance.

"Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good."

Gibson and Haven both danced in the SUPERSTAR dance. Doesn't he look cool?! He was actually pretty sick and had some Tylenol just before.

We did a silly "Itsy Bitsy Spider" dance. Do you see the middle picture on the top row?!?!?! Look how high Gibson is Jumping and how pointed his toes are!

Gibson and Haven received special trophies for being second year students. (Not like they have a choice in the matter) :)

Our last dance was to the song "Cha Cha Slide." It's a party dance song played at weddings and other places. We've been playing it at home and Elam really likes it. I could tell he wanted to go dance, so I let him.

He pretty much stole the show!!! Andrew was videoing for me and you can tell on this one part that he is cracking up because the video camera is shaking!

Haven and I got flowers from Andrew and Gibson got a small balloon. The two cute girls are "special" friends of Gibson. (Truthfully, they both like Gibson and he likes them) Anna, the one in the yellow actually gave Gibson her phone number the other day. We think he likes Cambell more though!

What cute pictures. I hope Mary Kate likes to sing as much as your kids do.

Wow! What a great dance recital...! The old saying "the show must go on" shows Gibson was a trooper. Every one dance beautifully including Elam! Haven has that infectious smile. I catch her smile all the time. I hope to see the video of the recital soon.
