Haven singing

My daughter sings almost all day long. (If it's a good day)

Today I was listening to her singing in the kitchen.

Are you familiar with the song, "Every Move I Make I Make in You"

Let me remind you..

Every move I make I make in you

You make me move Jesus

Every step I take I take in you

Every breath I make I make in you

You are my way Jesus

Every breath I take I take in you

Waves of Mercy

Waves of Grace

Every where I look, I see your face

Your love has captured me

Oh my God this love

How can it be

Na na na na na na

na na na na na

So, are you singing it??

If not, you won't laugh at this next part.

When Haven sang it today, she changed a few words around in the chorus.

Instead of...... Every where I look, I see your face

She said, Every where I look I see the parade!!!

Maybe I can get video of her singing it so you can here it.

They both love the Na nas

Preschool choir performance

Sunday night was a Hymn concert starring Gibson and Haven Littleton.

Haven's group sang "Standing on the Promises"

Each song was by a different age group and each age group was introduced by speakers. Guess who was a speaker for the 4 and 5 year old group????

YEP!

Gibson

He didn't talk real close to the mic, but you could hear what he had to say. (if you listened closely)

His group sang "Jesus loves Me."

Happy Valentine's Day

The kids and I had a nice suprise Valentine's morning.

We also opened cards from the great grand parents

Gibson said, "Money! Hey, this is George Washington."

I have a video below. :)

For dinner we went to church. It was a good deal. $20 for dinner and only $5 for each kid for child care. Of course it was catered by a CHAIN restaurant!! Andrew is so hard to please sometimes. :) We sat at a really nice table and he even got to talk about Metalica with some other guy. (I almost had to trade seats with him) I think that made up for the food.

pictures from work

Here's what Andrew's cubicle looked like. The balloons he had to open were inside.

These guys are from his old team, but they still went through all the trouble.

Andrew's party

Tonight we had a party for the 30 year old.

He worked hard all day making yummy yummy food. (I specifically requested his spinach dip for crackers, YUM)

He's been in a deviled egg mood lately.
He also made his own verision of his mom's hot ham and cheese sandwiches. He made a bunch. (I'm glad, now I can munch on them all week long)

Our friends Sam and Amanda came over and brought little Jack with them.
They also brought their Wii since Andrew hasn't gotten one yet. This is the only game they played sitting down. All the others you have to stand. Gibson played too. He did pretty good.

We just recently went to their new house for Jack's 1 year old birthday. He was doing some good walking at our house tonight.

This is Gibson's 2nd plate.

Gibson took these pictures of Andrew fixing the fire.

It was a fun night. Andrew really wants a Wii now after playing one. Sam and Amanda are letting us borrow theirs so that will be fun.

daddy's cake

Yesterday we celebrated with Andrew at lunch time. We didn't have much time, so we went to McDonalds. Andrew then took Gibson to his preschool class.

When Andrew got home from playing, we had yummy cake. (that andrew bought himself)

Andrew told Elam he had an oreo beard like on the commercial.

This video is so sweet. Elam is saying his own sentences. The first on is, "Mama, something something something about the cookie." The next one is him telling Gibson "No." and then telling me about it.

Happy birthday Andrew

Today is Andrew's birthday. He is the big 30!

They wrapped his cubical up in plastic wrap and had pictures of him as a baby posted all around. They also got him balloons with $1 gift cards to Starbucks inside them. He had to get them out without popping them. Someone is supposed to send me pictures and then I can post them on here.

For right now I have an email I saved from his mom. This is from back in September of last year.

I have been meaning to email you all week, and I'm just now getting around to it. I went to church with Christy Sunday, since Dad is in Wales. They had about 50 in church, the majority with white hair. I was expecting the usual small church music and preaching. Well, the service started off and Jonathan Woodside and his band were leading. They did a really nice chorus that I didn't know, but they sounded great! I was SO surprised at their sound. I looked around and of course only the young ones were even trying to sing with them. Anyway, as the service went on, they did a couple of hymns , and the old people just sang right along. Even on the hymns they sounded great! I know they have gotten a lot of grief from the old people, so I was bragging on them to different people. When I got to Sunday School, Sue(Jonathan's mom) was my teacher. I told her how impressed I was with the music. She immediately turned to the Sunday School class and for the next 10 or 15 minutes talked about YOU! She told the class how you had taught Jonathan to play the guitar and how you spent hours playing with them and helping them with their sound. She told them that you had instilled a real love for leading worship into Jonathan. She talked about how you had taken his love for music and taught him to use his talent for the Lord. She just went on and on. I WAS SO PROUD OF YOU!!!!! Anyway.....it caught me off guard. I was at church that day as the "youth director's mother-in-law" and everyone was telling me how wonderful Daniel and Christy are and how much they love Hannah and Benjamin and all of a sudden - out of the blue - I was "Andrew Littleton's Mom". :-) What a GREAT thing to be!! I love you, MOM

Andrew, I am so glad God gave you a love for music. I can remember all the times when the babies were little and you would leave to go play music. I was always annoyed and wished you wouldn't go. I am so glad you went and continued to use your talent for God. What a lesson to teach your children. I hope you have many many birthdays to inspire others with your music.

Andrew is playing bass tonight and tomorrow, so it might be hard to get a hold of him to wish him happy birthday.

tagged

I've been tagged. When you are tagged you have to tell 7 weird things about yourself.

Here are my 7 weird things.

1. I have a tumor in my leg. Nothing serious, just a small bone tumor. I've had it since 5th or 6th grade.

2. So, my left leg is a tiny bit shorter than my right. (probably b/c of my tumor)

3. My dad is from Switzerland. I don't think that's weird, but it is weird that I have alot of relatives who live far far away.

4. The rest of my side of the family is relatively small compared to other families. My grandmother's husband died when my mom and aunt were really little. She never remarried and my mom is the only one that got married. So, basically my family is, my mom, my dad, my aunt, and my sisters. Everybody else is over seas or distant cousins or, well, dead.

5. I love TV. I know it's not weird, but I like it alot.

6. My first name is really Frances. My mom always called me by my middle name. When I got married, I official changed it to Haley Imholz Littleton; however, when I got my new license, they wouldn't let my drop my first name, SO, on my license I am Frances Haley Imholz Littleton. It's like I'm royalty.

7. Ok, I am much better now, but I used to be terrified of ET. I am dreading the fact that my children will one day discover the movie and want me to watch it! Yikes!

Ok, so, there it is. I know there is tons more, but that's it for now. Maybe I'll be tagged again later.

And, I'm supposed to tag 7 people. I don't know that many people to tag, so I guess I'll tag Mindy and Rachel.

Jana tagged me. Her blog is http://www.3gentlemenand1littlelady.blogspot.com/

preschool open house

Last night was Gibson's Open house at his preschool.

They have been studing Hawaii.

Here is one of his crafts. (the red star)

His Jelly fish is top left.

The place was decorated so cute! When you walk in, you feel like you're in an ocean. We also saw a volcano erupt..

We had to leave early because Elam was sick.

Here's a video of the little guy. For a while now, he's been saying "No" even if he means Yes.

So, at first he sounds like he really means no, but then he says it like "yes."

He'll even shake his head like yes, but be saying no.

Here's a real pitiful video of him sneezing.
