Angels

These are my dancers for the Children's Christmas musical. They performed Sunday night.

They did such a great job!

I am so proud of them.

Last Saturday was the filming. (This production was filmed to use for promotional materials) It also had a dance demonstration portion by yours truly!

I can't wait till my kids are old enough to do these kinds of productions. I'm worried Gibson will grow up too fast and not want to! When I brought them to one of the dress rehearsals, Gibson kept asking if he could go on stage with the other kids!!!! To think back to his first ever musical performance.............click November 2005.......or click here.........................http://okeedokey.blogspot.com/2005/11/gibsons-singing-debut.html.............................
at that moment I never would have dreamed that he would beg me to go on stage one day!
I keep preparing myself for when he doesn't want to dance anymore. That will make me sad, but I understand. Until then, I'll enjoy every dance class with my little boy!

Thanksgiving in Tulsa

This year we drove up to Tulsa for a quick Thanksgiving trip.

Even though we got there after 7:00 Wednesday, the kids still enjoyed playing with their toys and visiting with Grandma, Grandad and Grandmama.

While waiting for Thanksgiving lunch Gibson and Haven worked puzzles with Grandad and Elam enjoyed the parade.

This is the dress Haven picked to wear for Thanksgiving.

She likes to twirl in it.

Haven's picture of mommy on Thanksgiving. (what a lovely couple)

All three kids watched Grandad carve the Turkey. They were very impressed!

We had a wonderful meal at this table with Grandma and Grandad, Uncle Tim and Aunt Vickie and Cousin Ashley.

Rene

This is Rene. He's from Switzerland

He came to visit us for a few days.
(He's been in the USA for about a month and a half)

He and my mom and dad are leaving for Switzerland in a few days.

All the kids really enjoyed playing with Rene. Gibson almost cried when he left.

Gibson's first time to spend the night

Saturday, Avery's mom called to see if Gibson was busy. She wanted to know if he could come over and spend the night!

We packed him a bag with pajamas, clothes for church, his tooth brush and a teddy bear.

Gibson and Avery

Avery's mom took some more pictures, so when she get's them to me I'll add them to this post.

Haloween

Something new we tried this year was a fun Halloween party at the Library. They read a few Halloween books and then we made some fun Ghost and had a cookie. (I didn't have my camera, so I had to use my phone!)

Here's everybody dressed up for Trick or Treating

Mr. Incredible

(This mask only lasted 3 seconds)

After we went to a few houses in our neighborhood, we headed to Grandma and Grandpa's neighborhood. Our first stop was Diane's house.

Elam fell asleep on the way. (He didn't get much of a nap b/c of the field trip earlier that day)

Boomer's devil outfit doesn't fit him anymore, so all we could put on him was his little devil horns.

Aunt Norma's house

After that we went to Sam and Amanda's house. They had had so many trick or treaters they ran out of candy! They saved some for our kids though.

Their son's name is Jack. My kids call him "Jack Jack" like from the Mr. Incredible movie.

So, We decided Elam was dress up as "Jack Jack."

So, Jack Jack was Spider Man and Elam was Jack Jack!
